Blackburn Rovers have a chance to get 3 points as they welcome Liverpool to Ewood Park on Saturday.

After the impressive display against Chelsea in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night, Blackburn Rovers are all warmed up and ready to have a go at Rafa Benitez's men.
Strikers Benni McCarthy and Nikola Kalinic are very much in form, and should spearhead the attack on Saturday. Jason Roberts is also available.
Midfielder Keith Andrews suffered a calf muscle strain in the Carling Cup game against Chelsea, but should be fit enough to play on Saturday. His presence is quite essential in Blackburn's midfield.
David Dunn is also out with a calf muscle strain, but should make the bench.
Morten Gamst Pederson and El-Hadji Diouf should get starting spots on the team.
In defense, Pascal Chimbonda, Gael Givet, Ryan Nelsen, and Christopher Samba are likely starting choices.

Liverpool have had a lot of woes so far this football season, but a light seems to shine at the end of the proverbial tunnel for them as striker Fernando Torres looks set to return to the squad against Blackburn Rovers, and as most of Benitez's top names return from injury/illness.
With Torres's return, Liverpool will have their effective Gerrard/Torres partnership back.  .  .but a lot will depend on Torres being match-ready.
Striker Dirk Kuyt is available to partner Torres up front.
Midfielder Steven Gerrard will be more than glad to have Torres back on the pitch. If Benitez also fields Alberto Aquilani in the middle, Liverpool will have very good attacking capabilities. Javier Mascherano, Yossi Benayoun, and Alberto Riera are also very much available for the midfield.
All looks strong and tight, doesn't it?
In defense, Martin Skrtel, Jamie Carragher, Aurelio, Agger, are all available, as well as the very skilled Glen Johnson.
So basically, Liverpool are back to full squad. But as Rafa Benitez said, being available is one thing, and being match-ready is another.
Still, the team looks set to give Blackburn Rovers a good fight. Let's hope better days are back for Liverpool.  .  .
