A Dominican nun, Sister Lucia Caram has come under severe attack over comments she made about the birth of Christ and the status of his mother, Mary as a virgin.

The nun’s comments has been denounced vehemently in a statement by the Catholic Church

Sister Lucia made the “blasphemous” comments when she on a Christian talk show during the weekend.

“I think that Mary was in love with Joseph and that they were a normal couple and the normal thing is to have s’ex,” Caram told Risto Mejideon during Sunday’s Chester in Love program.
