Organic fertilizers are fertilizers derived from
animal’s matters, animal excreta (manure),
Human excreta and Plant/vegetable matters. (e.g
compost and crop residues). Naturally occurring
organic fertilizer include animal wastes from meat
processing, peat, manure slurry. Be inform that
majority of fertilizers used in commercial farming are
extracted from minerals (e.g phosphate rock) or
produce industrially (e.g Ammonia)

Most agricultural waste serves as a good soil
conditional. They add nutrient to the plant and
improve the soil condition. Most of these wastes are
gotten in a raw form directly from the farm or mostly
from agricultural produce processing companies

Because of low quantities of agricultural waste
generated from different factories around us, it is
difficult to produce organic fertilizers for commercial
purposes. But it is highly recommended to be use for
gardener (horticulture) and vegetable farming.
Within short period of time, it revive the soils life and
it decomposes to be part of the soil which makes it to
add more value to the soil rather than concentrating
on the growth of plant.

The manufacturing process of most chemical
fertilizers depend on non renewable resources such as
coal and natural gas, while others are made by
treating rock minerals with acid to make them more
soluble. Fortunately there are more and more truly
organic fertilizer coming to the market and these
products are made from natural plant and animal
materials

As a gardener or vegetable farmers, you can try some
of these organic fertilizer listed below. They are
derived majorly from agricultural waste and its cheap,
easy to use, slow release and low analysis.

Cow Waste Pellet: there is much cow dung in cow
farms and it may cause pollution to environment if
the dung is not properly deal with. Using stack pellet
mill to make cow dung’s into fuel or manure (organic
fertilizers and soil conditional) is a best deal for a
young agropreneur. (high heat of about 3200kcal, a
profitable investment project, save energy and help
improve the rural development, good substitute of
coal and oil, good soil conditional and plant
enhancer) most of the time easy to export after
pelletized.
