SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF FIBROIDS IN UTERUS
Most women have no signs and symptoms of fibroid in their uterus, but around 1 in 3 will experience symptoms, which may include:
Anaemia (as a result of heavy periods)
Backache
Constipation
Discomfort in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large)
Frequent urination
Heavy, painful menstrual flows
Pain in the legs
Painful sex
Swelling in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large) i.e protruding stomach without pregnancy
May cause infertility and or miscarriages
Other possible signs and symptoms of uterine fibroids include:
Labor problems
Pregnancy problems
Fertility problems
Repeated miscarriages
