Once again, during her performance at the 2017 Grammys, Beyoncé channeled Youruba Goddess, Oshun . The goddess represents, fertility,motherhood, and the passing of the generations. This isn’t the first time the Grammy Award-winning artist paid homage to the practice. Beyoncé paid tribute to the goddess of water, fertility and love in visual album Lemonade, most notably seen in “Hold Up.” She also channeled her in her maternity shoot.
