Neteller''s reply from my enquiry. "Please be advised that currency conversions will be done automatically based on the current Exchange Rates wherever appropriate. However, please, bear in mind that transactions involving currency conversions will be subject to a 3.99% Foreign Exchange (FX) Fee. If you open an account in Naira (NGN) then this will be the currency displayed on your account. All payments done in Naira will be processed in the same currency and no extra charge will be applied. On the other hand, if you have an account in NGN and make a payment in USD for example, we will automatically convert the funds as appropriate but this will incur an FX Fee. ^GM |

I just registered in Naira now but cannot deposit more than 100 usd worth of Naira (about 32k) via gtb or access debit cards. The only other deposit option is via swift transfer. This a major drawback of using neteller in naira. Have written to their support and I hope they find a solution soon. |
