SOMEONE

As youths, we earnestly, (sometimes desperately) crave for acceptance; we all want to be part of something. We want someone who listen to all our rants and complaints, share our joy and pain.

Someone whose shoulder, we can cry on, whose smile and touch is soothing to us, whose handshake and pats on the back comforts us, whose hugs give us hope and confidence.

Someone we can confide in, who drive sense into us when we are silly. These are people who make us grow and strong and give us confidence.
“Impossible! There is nobody like that.”
We quickly say but 30 years ago, these kinds of people have existed but now, we’ve evolved from being a social being, grown apart into lonely entities, scared of our own identity, xenophobia, discrimination, violence on rampage.

We lack communication, civilization and technology has taken that away. We hide behind our computers and phones to communicate, our confidence is lost. We are afraid of what people will say.

This must stop, let us declare war on isolation, and let us make fear afraid. Everyone needs a friend, be one. We can make a difference, get out of your comfort zone, pay a visit, send a gift, compliment everyone, and show love, there is enough love to go round.

This is the beauty of being human. Say no to territoriality! We are not Animals.
Say no to discrimination and violence.

Let every lovely gesture you expressed be screaming out loud- I CARE!

Everyone can be that someone today.
