Oladayo A. "Dayo" Okeniyi(born June 14, 1988) is aNigerian Americanactor,[1]popularly known for playing therole ofThreshinThe Hunger Games[2]and Danny Dyson inTerminator Genisys.[3]Life and careerDayo was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and has four siblings.[4]His father is a retired customs officer from Nigeria, and his mother is a literature teacher fromKenya.[5]In 2003, he moved with his family toIndiana, United States, from Nigeria and later moved toCalifornia.[1]He earned abachelor's degreein visual communications atAnderson University (Indiana)in 2009.[6]Prior to being cast inThe Hunger Games, Okeniyi worked in local theatre and in film shorts.[7]Okeniyi starred 2014 in the drama filmEndless Love, also portrayed Danny Dyson in the 2015 filmTerminator Genisys[8]and starred in the NBC seriesShades of Blue.
