I packed into my apartment 12months ago. I am supposed to renew my rent this march. Feelers am getting from the landlord is that he qanta to renovate my side of the compound so I should look for another accommodation. I told him things are not done that way. No notice no nothing. Though it has been hell living there in the past one year and I was planning to move when my rent expires but still renew my rent maybe for my younger brother. Abeg my people, I thought a tenant is given like six months notice if the landlord wants him to go? |

Life's too short to be living in hell for one year anywhere, especially when you can do something about it like... ummm... leave and find your peace elsewhere. But you want to renew your rent for yourself or brother, so you can continue to live in hell. Doesn't make much sense. |
