Spanish La Liga outfit Deportivo La Coruna have booted out club manager Gaizka Garitano following their recent wretched form that has moved them closer to the relegation zone in the league.

Garitano led the team to an unimpressive 4-0 loss to lowly Leganes on Saturday evening and that proved to be his final game in charge as his sack was confirmed by the former UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-finalists on Sunday with a news conference expected to take place on Monday as the former Eibar boss says his goodbyes. Deportivo reserve team boss Cristobal Parralo has however been placed in charge of the team following the new development.
