Auto technicians in the house please what could be the cause of shortage of water on lexus rx 300 radiator/can. I just changed the top gasket few days ago because of oil leakage on the engine so when I get home that day the next morning I decide to check if the engine was in order and later found out there was shortage of water in the radiator can which I had to fill it. After using the car that day for some few hours I went home. in the morning I decide to check it and found out there was shortage of water in the radiator can which I had to fill it and I have noticed whenever I used the car I will have to fill the radiator can and I can't trace any leakage on the radiator. So the Auto profs in the house what do you think can be the cause and how to repair it. I don't want the car to over heat. Thanks

check if your radiator is not leaking
check if both of your fans are working well or if any has not packed up
check if the water reservoir is not leaking

Yes, also tell your mechanic to check the water pump for leakage and also use the dipstick to check for traces of water in the engine oil
