Fortress of Hope Educational and Youth Development Foundation (FOHEYDEF) - A registered NGO in Nigeria with the main objective of granting educational scholarships to the less privileged, discovering and promoting potential talents and raising the foundation of many generations. Applications are invited from qualified Nigerians for the below 2017 scholarship application of the above named foundation.

Description
The FOH Foundation scholarship program is our major platform for promoting our vision and goals. The scholarship program awards scholarships to qualified individuals who are indigenes and residents of African countries, and have been offered admission to study in recognized tertiary institutions in Nigeria
The FOH scholars program grants individuals the opportunity to acquire a first degree and postgraduate degrees at recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria. It grants individuals the opportunity to build up the leadership potentials that are so evidently lacking in the leaders of our society, through the yearly programs and community development initiatives integrated in the duration of the scholarship. The scholarship program covers the full academic fees for 4 years duration for first degree, 2 years duration for masters degree and 3 years duration for a doctorate degree.

The FOH scholarship program also have a Young Scholar Component for those in the Secondary school. It covers full academic tuition for one year.

Each awarded candidate becomes a Fortress of Hope Foundation Scholar (FOH Scholar) and is expected to meet up with the requirements in order to remain a FOH Scholar.

Areas Covered by the Foundation's Scholarship
Candidates undergoing or who are about to undergo training for the following certificates and degree are eligible to participate in our scholarship programme.

=> Doctor of Philosophy (3 years scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Master Degree (2 years scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Bachelor Degree(4, 5 and 6 years scholarship (depending on discipline), tuition fees only)
=> Higher National Diploma (one session scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> National Diploma (one session scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Professional Diploma (3 years scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> National Certificate in Education (3 years scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Technician Certificate (3 years scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Senior Secondary School (one session scholarship, tuition fees only)
=> Junior Secondary School (one session scholarship, tuition fees only)

Eligibility for the Foundation's Scholarship

=> Prospective applicants must be Nigerian nationals by birth or by naturalization.
=> Candidates must have secured admission into recognized institutions in Nigeria.
=> The scholarship covers students who intends or are currently enrolled to undergo National/Higher/Professional Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in the following disciplines:

Environmental Health. Ecology & Environmental Sciences, Nursing Science & Midwifery, Computer Science, Information Communication Technology, Community Health, Library Science, French, English Language, Translation & Interpretation, Civic Education, Health Information Management, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Dental Technology, Dental Therapy, Biomedical Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Basic Medical Sciences, Literature, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics Education and Health Physics.

=> Students currently enrolled in recognized Senior Secondary Schools in Nigeria.
=> Prospective candidates shall sit for two (2) phases of competitive examinations and final selection will be based on merit ONLY
