Feb 28, In Egypt dozens of Muslim residents threw firebombs and rocks at police as they tried to storm a church in southern Egypt in search of a woman suspected of converting to Christianity in the town of KomOmbo. Tensions rose after a 36 year-old Muslim woman, who has been missing for five days, was allegedly seen outside the church with a female Christian friend. The woman was reported found on Feb 2 and police said that "family and social reasons," not religion, were behind her disappearance, and that she had not converted.
