Jacob Zuma's £5.3m Home Expansion Prompts Outcry by AloyEmeka6: 6:51am On Dec 13, 2009 |
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2009 Jacob Zuma's £5.3m home expansion prompts outcry Zuma's rural homestead will gain a police station, helipad, military clinic, visitors' centre, parking lot for 40 vehicles and three houses, according to South Africa's Mail & Guardian newspaper, which claimed taxpayers would foot "the largest chunk of the bill". New houses are apparently being built to accommodate Zuma's three wives, the paper said. Critics accused the president of "conspicuous consumption in the face of dire poverty". Official figures show that more than half of KwaZulu-Natal's 10 million population live in poverty, with 1.2 million surviving on less than R200 (£16) a month. Sources told the paper that the expansion will cost an estimated R65m. Source: Guardian UK |

Ideally, you would expect a leader to do everything to avoid needless controversy. But when it comes to Africa the case is usually the reverse with them actually relishing an opportunity to be in it. Well, they voted him in with own hands, didn't they ? |

did the women have to wear every color found in the rainbow? African leaders no get shame especially the sub-saharran ones. edoyad is right though - these idiots actually voted for a man that thinks a shower can cure aids. |

Zuma has actually confounded critics with his leadership so far. They thought he was gonna nationalise everything and correct the imbalance in society straightaway, but he hasnt lived up to the rhetoric. Rather, he has been conservative in his approach. |

@bawo , yes i remember that i had a shower after sex line of his, complete chauvinist idi.ot . @Ibime don't be deceived, the chameleon is barely a year into office, his true nature will soon start to shine through. See what Mugabe is today compared to when he was first elected. |

Ibime: And the economic class in the country are trully greatful for his conservative approach. Like most goverments, they promise the people social change but are really serving their true masters. The one's with CAPITAL POWER. The west understood this far back during the industrial age which is why they eventually gave up political power in SA knowing fully well they are entrenched in its economics. They will turned a blind eye to some issues of corruption so long as their power structure is not tampered with. A middle class elite willbe created in SA compromising mostly of 'blacks' who will move more to the right than the left, knowing that their new found wealth would be threatened if the pendulum swings left. Its history just repeating it self again and again. |

No2Atheism: Yeah very funny indeed,I'm helping you guys laugh, hahahaha You know what else I find funny?you President is dying He rule your country from a hospital bed in Germany He is so skinny he wear double sheets to look full He is trying so hard to unite his country he even changes his skin colour every two weeks Regarding Zuma he believe that by washing his dikc after having sex,was minimising the chances of catching the desease that he take a public HIV/AIDS testing every six months and they all come negative. |
Re: Jacob Zuma's £5.3m Home Expansion Prompts Outcry by edoyad(m): 12:29pm On Dec 15, 2009 |
@RSA since 1 in four south Africans has HIV/AIDS, the next Zuma wife might actually make the Zuma family a microcosm of the 1 in 4 status in your country. |
Re: Jacob Zuma's £5.3m Home Expansion Prompts Outcry by RSA(m): 12:46pm On Dec 15, 2009 |
edoyad: You know what I like about SAns?we have developed a culture of testing regularly for HIV.I mean I personally test every three months and I donate blood as well,so are my other country men. I wonder if you people even test, cause if you don't test you can't say you don't have it .hahaha Zuma made a mistake and apologize and we have forgiven him,he takes public testing and he is negative, and he is at the forefront of fighting AIDS in SA,he is only a human. |

Jacob Zuma awarded 'Best African President' title Zuma was awarded on Tuesday evening at the Africa Consciousness Media Leadership Awards for this year, organised to honour African individuals who have contributed in the African liberation and development. "As Africa's leaders we have pledged to our people that we will strive for the eradication of poverty, disease and conflict. We have pledged to promote trade, investment, economic growth, skills development and stability on the continent," Zuma said during the event. He urged African leaders to use partnership agreements as instruments to advance the cause of the continent and work for the unity of the African people at all times, a Bua news report said. The late First Lady of Nigeria, Stella Obasanjo, was honoured with Best African First Lady of the Year http://www.zeenews.com/news578431.html |

RSA, don't try to defend that toad by contradicting yourself. Zuma helping in fighting AIDS ? The next zero Zuma will be reaching is 70, do you think it is humanly possible for one man(in his 60s) to satisfy more than three women in bed ? When a man cannot satisfy his wife/wives sexually doesn't that leave them more vulnerable to infidelity and thus increasing the chance of HIV being brought into the family circle ? Explain that to me. |

RSA: Stop making fun of Yaradua. He is legitimately ill unlike Zuma who cannot keep his third leg in check. I only wish he can upgrade his taste in women like the French president or many Nigerian politicians. No Nigerian politician will be seen hanging around with wowor fat toads like Zuma's women. Whwn Abacha was alive, he was into women who looked like Eva Mendes, go ask around. Check out Mbeki, Zuma and rate the class of women who hang around them. |

RSA: look, stop being so sensitive and call a spade a spade. this is one of the times I dont mind an African leader hooking up with an oyibo wife. A white woman worth her salt will either make sure she's the only one introduced as the official wife, or else the negro himself wont even feel comfortable showing photographs of gazillion wives as evidence of where the country's funds will be going. |

^ @tpia why don't you forward your name to the SA embassy as candidate for the new Mrs Zuma position. Talk about bridging the Nigerian - SA divide , dont worry i put myself forward to aid in areas where he fails as a husband. |

edoyad: 1. Give me a few reasons why my application would be given priority over the myriads of other negro females beating down the door to get the honor of being photographed in Zuma's harem. 2. Have you ever read the story of shaka the Zulu and how he dealt with some of his men who had unnecessary urges during his mother's burial You want to help Zuma out with his husbandly duties, right. |

What exactly is wrong with the women's dressing? Just like the kente cloth of the ashatis in ghana that mode and colour of dressing is their culture. . . . Typical narrow minded nigerians expecting everybody to don their igbo isiagu or yoruba agbada or hausa whatever they wear. Bear in mind you in your native dress look as ridiculous to them the same way you perceive them. |

About that Chaka guy, wasn't he gay or something in that line ? You want to help Zuma out with his husbandly duties, right. You know that service is yours only if you indeed pitch your tent with the zulu pervert |
