At MWC we all focus on the big bow like Samsung, but we gotta give credit to those companies that a rising and still does it well.

The Gionee A1 has a 5.5 inch High Definition display while the sibling, the A1 plus has a 6 inch HD display. They both rock a china based processor, the MediaTek, the Helio P10 and the Helio P25 respectively.

The RAM is seriously 4GB on both, 64GB of storage which is expandable by the way through and SD-card slot. It rock the Android 7.0 Nougat.

On A1 there’s a rear 13MP camera and a 16MP front facer. The Gionee A1 Plus takes things a step further with a 13MP and 5MP dual configuration on the back and a whopping 20MP front facing camera. Both devices have front and rear flash. Such amount of megapixels is not need in the front of a smartphone except you want to take a selfie with a selfie stick has long as 5 meters, might have exaggerated a bit.



Battery
Had to make this an heading because of how much I like it.

With most batteries from most smartphone companies averaging at the 3000mAh area of the chart, you get a massive 4010mAh for the Gionee A1 and a slightly bigger 4550mAh battery with the Plus variant.

Pricing is quite moderate though, the Gionee A1 will arrive first in March, priced at 349 Euros. The A1 Plus will follow in April, priced 100 Euros higher at 449. In Naira, it varies
