Lent is observed in Catholic churches all around the world.
It is a solemn religious observance in the liturgical calendar that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends approximately six weeks later, before Easter Sunday.

Here are some things every Catholic can most definitely relate to during the season of Lent

1. On Ash Wednesday, when your friends at work or at school ask you why there’s ash on your forehead

2. And thinking of what to give up for Lent.

3. Or how you have to go to church for Stations of the Cross every week.

4. And making a mental note not to eat meat on Wednesdays and Fridays for some people

5. When you have to ask the lady at the restaurant if she added the stock of the meat to the stew.

6. Not to forget to avoid songs with alleluia for the next couple of weeks

7. And how you want to sing the Gloria at church on Sundays, but lent

8. Art was making your palm on Palm Sunday into a cross

9. Watching the Passion Play on Good Friday and thinking about Jesus suffering for our sins

10. And then on Holy Saturday vigil, with all the long readings

11. Patiently waiting for Easter to eat some good chicken
