The Nobel Institution had on Thursday revealed that 318 people and Organization are running for this Year Nobel Peace award.

Among those listed for the prize was US President, Donald Trump. Trump's name was included by an unidentified American citizens, who wants him nominated for “his peace through strength ideology."

Apart from Trump, other public figures whose names were listed are Syria’s White Helmets , Pope Francis, jailed Saudi blogger Raif Badawi, Edward Snowden, Russian President Vladimir Putin and former French president Jacques Chirac.

The names are usually kept secret but those who nominated names are free to reveal it to the public.
