So I decided to start writing on PCOS in Nigeria as I felt to little is spoken about it. PCOS is actually very common in woman, most don't even know they have it and some realise along the way or when they are ready to have babies. Either way PCOS is awful and the symptoms very annoying but thankfully there are things you could do to reduce the impact of PCOS.

I hope with this write up ladies, we could share, debate and discuss, our journey, solutions and lesson learned.

A lot of woman don't know but PCOS is easily managed with loosing weight and eating a healthy balance diet. It's actually easier said than done, because woman with PCOS find it hard to loose weight easily as our breaking down sugar is harder in a PCOS body.

Some of the characteristics of PCOS are, been very hairy, especially upper lip, chin facial hair, upper body weight, difficulties shedding weight, absence of period, or irregular periods, shedding hair from the top, bloating, mood swings, acne and give list is long.
