A lot of persons are gifted in writing meaningful and soul searching articles/stories/poems etc. In line with that it is important we connect and share our thoughts and all this would greatly improve our writing skills and also increase our viewers
so here is one of my little sketches

Nigeria Would Be Great Again

Arise o compatriots, we are black, proud and free,

My father’s land I must regain,

A place, where everyone wants to be,

Let Nigeria be the giants of Africa again.


Let Nigeria be that land our fore fathers fought earnestly for,

Let it be a land where dreams can be achieved,

Where public funds and the masses sweat can be accounted for,

That all men who labor let their full wages be received.

Let my father’s land be known once again for peace, unity and hospitality,

My home, my pride, my history, my culture, re-ignites,

Let there be an end to the killings, thefts, kidnaps and insurgency,

Let diplomacy and dialogue be the order of the day, not bloody fights.
Let there be equality in the air we breathe,
I wish for freedom in this land of the free,
No more should our lives be filled with bitter sweet,

We are blessed beyond measure, on the land, in the air, on the sea.
NIGERIA, Who am I?

I am a single voice crying out for the poor people,

I am that man that would fight for liberation,

I am that little kid, who sees life as simple,

I am the hand that would raise this great nation.

I am that young man, filled with strength and hope,’

Placed in a society of people who want power, wealth at the detriment of others?

A time of change when men and women can barely cope,

A time when politicians close their window shutters.
I am a farmer Nigeria is the land the people’s mind are the seed,

Huge investment, potential of an elephant,

We are made for bounty harvest, but the evil has turned to weed,

Choking, the life out of our precious golden plant.
O, Arise compatriots, we are black, proud and free,

Our Father’s land we must regain,

A place for the rich, the poor, the average, ME,

Let us unite, work tirelessly under the sun or in the rain.


The change is not meant for the government but OUR people. Contribute your own quota and you would be amazed what great change this would achieve. We are all little drops, together we can make a great ocean……. We are Nigerians and for this we are proud to be.
