Apostle Suleiman, was not long ago in the headline over his statement on Fulani Herdsmen killing, where he was sought by the DSS, which people believed was politically motivated.

However, he is back again in the news in a nasty sex scandal with a Nigeria Canadian based singer named Stephanie Otobo, claiming to be Pastor Suleiman's lover since 2015.

Stephanie had accused the popular pastor of impregnating her and abandoning her after she aborted the pregnancy, and failing to marry her as she claimed he promised. She said Pastor Suleiman promised to divorce his wife to marry her as he wants more male children.

She came out on Pastor Suleiman and promise to expose all that happened after he abandoned her and It seems she believes she has a strong case on her side appearing in court with the backing of renowned lawyer, Festus Keyamo and media support of Sahara Reporter and had provided picture evidence of her video chat with Apostle Suleiman.

However, Apostle Suleiman had refuted all these claims regarding them as funny games played by politicians as tweeted on his twitter handle. He also jokingly added that they should have used a more presentable lady to blackmail him.

Analysing the situation, the lady will have to do more to prove her allegations, not just photos which can be photoshoped, and her credibility suffered a big blow when her father denied any knowledge of marriage arrangements made with Pastor Suleiman, as she earlier claims to have introduced him to her father.

As all this begged the questions, what is her purpose for the expose? Why coming out now? And how come she has such backing from a strong media firm and lawyer?

Could it be she has substantial evidence to back her claims or is it just a mere publicity stunt or blackmail?

Another question I am sure you are probably pondering about is why a reputable pastor will consider divorce or take a second wife at the expense of tarnishing his image as a Pastor?

Is Pastor Suleiman right with his allegation that some politicians are trying to blackmail him and tarnish his image?

Or is Stephanie Otobo a victim of love betrayed?

I don't trust a lot of pastors but many factors seems to make Ms Otobo's claims questionable which people hardly seem to notice:

1. The lady claims there was a kind of introduction/traditional marriage. This is one area her claims flaws greatly. Someone as well known as Pastor Sulaiman cannot do a traditional marriage without it hitting blogs and evening newspapers at least. Someone among the attendees will certainly leak it.

2. Traditional marriage of that caliber must evidently have at least a picture or video.

3. A relationship that intimate as the girl claims should at least have one picture of the two together in loved up postures and not just a snapchat photoshop that says nothing.

4. The girls dad totally denied her claims even when she involved her dad in her video testimony.

5. How come all these things are happening at a time some powerful folks are after the downfall of the pastor.

6. No fake Nigerian pastor will want to divorce his wife and marry a stripper because in an effort to hide their hypocrisy there are certain things they wouldn't publicly do.


All I'm simply saying is that the girls stories do not add up at all. Even when you listen to her video testimony, the way she's stuttering and fumbling and ber lack of cordination easily showcases an individual trying hard to arrange lies.

However I always leave a room for doubt if I hear stories like this in case I'm wrong.
