...Hey Every Gurus here... . . I have a lenovo A3800-d . . i'm having a problem with it and i promise to reward anyone that helps me sort it out, . . The phone doesn't show an option to change from 2g to 3g... . .as in the phone only shows E instead of H+ while browing, please it just fade the option to change from Edge to UMTS...as below....

Try this,, Its simple and easy and best part, it worked
for me..
Settings--->Mobile Data--->Network Mode--->choose
WCDMA/GSM option---> Restart your phone.. Make sure your sim is capable of 3G network. |

rapcy:whenever i select 3g it will do like it's searching the network then it will just red- cross it and show now service |

Is it a dual sim phone are you using sim 1 for browsing because if so default selection shows sim 1 to access 3g network and sim2 will be 2g.two sim at same time cannot use 3g network Just sharing my experience not too experience with tech.  1 Like |

@OP don't even stress yourself. The 3g will never work in Nigeria no matter what you do. The bands are TD-SCDMA 1850-1920/2010-2025MHz; it won't work outside China. Next time shine your eyes and test properly before buying any phone. 5 Likes |

bro am very sorry I know of a friend that uses a Lenovo phone too similar problem the phone don't have 3g it isn't 3g enabled |

Try download mtk engineering tools.... Select network and choose wcdma only.... Try to see if it fix |

Simply go to play store and download lte or type 3g n 4g app..then change the network mode to what u wish for |

I had to same issue with mine, I later discovered that I bought d copied phone. So I returned it and they gave me d original. See screen shot below
