Your vision also has to be broken down into long term and short term goals. (What do I want to achieve in the next six months, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years etc.)

Having a clear vision keeps you focused in life and also affects your choices: the kind of friends you keep, the kind of course you study at school, the career you choose and even the kind of person you marry. People who have no clear vision for their lives end up as mediocre or failures.

Having a vision alone is never enough. It is action that will make your dreams come true. The most successful people in the world are those who take action every single day. A dream without action is mere wishful thinking. What brings results is action. For example; a student that wants to graduate with flying colors cannot just wish it but must take action by attending lectures, taking notes, researching and reading smart/hard.
