OJEOWODE IS IN SHAKI EAST LOCAL GOVT, OYO STATE NIGERIA.
It was socked and heartbreaking when Olojowon(people of Ojeowode) learnt that their trust born son was turn traitor against the community, with what the town did for kola, it's unbeleivable that a poilician that the community think will fight and bring the pride of the community from Abuja simply turn against the community and grabbed the the totality land of Ojeowode, many didn't beleive their hear when the news broke in the annual meeting of Ajo ifelodun Omo Ojeowode last january by one complice of kola, the one called Adeojo, who came to the preminary meeting with one tore sheet paper on which stated that there is a grant sign in 1977 btw one Lanihun an Indigene of Ibadan residing in Oje owode with Oloje of Ojeowode to grant him land for farming and Lanihun, as the tradition gave one calabash of kolanut with 2 bootles of schnapp.
Now kola said he bought the land from Lanihun, and claimed the land belong to him, he come to town with hired lawyers and harassed the the people!
The Land now claimed by kola is 5000hectares(50km sq)
Although the Oloje of Ojeowode Oba AbdRasidi Oyinloye Olagbenro had called people to be calmed and asure them that an inch sq of his territory would never be grabbed by anybody, and that kola should go to Lanihun to settle their matter, Oje is less concern about that, also the youths had vow that if the generation of today Olojowon cannot call kola to order the incomming generation will fight on! kola should prepared well for the war he delared on Ojeowode!
Then this is a wistsle blowing to Efcc to extend their investigation to the locals, because what the chairmen, supervisors and councellors did to their commuties should not go freely
who knows how many kola we have all over Nigeria!
