There hasn't been light in my area and I've been advised against charging my phone with my laptop because it weakens the battery overtime. I want to get a powerbank but there are so many options and I dont want to rush and buy fake, hence this thread.

bought mine since 2013 when it was first launched and still using it, thou not as powerful as it used to be but still serve me, others I bought after that were all gone. that newage is good.

dear none is suitable.just go for anyone coz the mah is just deception.almost all of them has 18650 * 4 lithium battery.lifeline is between 4-6months

Buy New age or Fil power bank. I've used both and they lasted for more than a year.
Buy from distributor. The New age 8000mah is 3000 in the market. Online sellers dey cut person head. It's a little heavy though. The Fil power bank is more portable.

So which phone you wan advertise now?

Do some basic research before you buy such as reading comments on the ones you've seen online. Start with the one at the top. There's a reason its at the top. Also check and see if it has meaningful User Manual, Product Specification and Warranty.

DO NOT buy any mobile phone sized pb offering 20000 or 100000 mah. Its most likely a fake. If you read the below link you'll understand how to do basic weight test and compare to your phone battery; or a car battery that is about 35ah (equivalent to 35000mah) to 75ah (or 75000 mah). Caveat Emptor!
