Manchester United go into today’s match away to Middlesbrough F.C. at a time when the team is somewhat depleted due to various reasons and a fixture pile-up that will have to be carefully managed if things are to end well for the club this season.

These facts notwithstanding, the club’s manager Jose Mourinho has said he will in no way field a weak team against Middlesborough today. AS it stands presently, United has a minimum of 14 matches still to be played this season and that includes Europa League ties.
