Prior to the announcement made by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) that students without result from the West African Examination Certificate will not be eligible to write the entrance exams into tertiary institutions with effect from the year 2017 has had a U-turn.

According to the registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyode he once noted that no more awaiting result will be welcomed to register for the JAMB examinations and recently, new developments have been made to adjust the system of the board.
