One of the leading food and beverage company based in IBADAN requires the services of Filling Machine Operator

Job Level: Senior Staff

Responsible for the operation of the Machines used to produces product with high quality of the product, at the right time and at the lower cost.

DUTIES:

Ensures that all filling equipment is in good running condition; and should fixed, and/or replaces any part(s) found to be out of order or off timed.
Ensures cleaning of the machines and has gone thru CIP every start-up.
Checks and keeps air pressure, chiller, cooling tower parameters as recommended.
Ensures availability of raw materials needed in the whole production operation (such as Flexible film, spout, straw )
Informs the Supervisor and Mechanics when an unusual operation or sound is noted during start-up.

During the Operation:

To institute corrective measures when the following occurs:
 Improper sealing or poor welding.
 Uncapped or misapplied caps/spouts.
 Low fill or under product volume.
 Off-timing of the machine parts.
 Noted deviation of any established parameters.
 Off standard products as established by Quality Control group.
 Replacement or changing of reel.

After Operation:

Responsible for the proper, adequate rinsing, CIP and sanitation of the filler.
And performs changeover/ change size for the next run.
Responsible for the proper accounting of the material wastage of the Filler machines (such as spout, film, straw and etc,).
Responsible for proper cleaning of the machines and its immediate vicinity.
Ensure that all equipment is turned off before leaving the area.

• Basic standard operating procedure.


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
OND/TRADE TEST/HND/College graduate in any engineering courses preferably registered engineers.Hands on experience in operation and maintenance of VOLPAK Filler for Juice and paste will be an added advantage.

• Basic standard operating procedure.
