Engineers in the house.... Pls which is the best power backup system that is suitable for use in a radio/TV station UPS or inverter and why is one preferred over the other.

Whichever options that are available, the best would be a pure sinusoidal wave inverter system (simply pure sine wave) so that there won't be noise in the system due to poor rectification in the inverter. More so some sound system work best on pure alternating current.
