Former Egyptian President Hosni
Mubarak who was arrested over the
death of protesters in 2011 has been
freed from detention.
Mr Mubarak's Lawyer said the 88year
old ex President left a military hospital
in southern Cairo and went to his
home in the northern suburb of
Heliopolis.
He had been ordered freed earlier this
month after an Egypt’s top appeals
court cleared him over the deaths of
protesters.
He became president in 1981 after
Anwar Sadat’s assassination.
