Did Nigeria and Nigerians invent internet scamming?

Did we take out a patent on it?

Or is it a registered trademark thrusted on us by over-malicious outside world?

Internet scamming is not a peculiar nigerian thing.The difference is that IN nigeria,the government and citizenry does nothing to tackle the menace.
