One person has been reportedly killed in an attack by suspected herdsmen in Obio Usiere community, Cross River state. Also, several other persons were reportedly injured in the attack.

NAIJ.com gathered that the attack which was carried out by some suspected herdsmen led the disappearance of many children from the community in Odukpani local government area of the state. Residents of the community who spoke to the Sun said over 100 Fulani herdsmen invaded the community.

The residents further appealed to the federal government to make more security operatives available to the community. The community members also said they are currently living in fear for fear of more attacks from the suspected herdsmen.
