In his bid to give African youth sense of political direction and participation, the Global President Independent Pan African Youth Parliament Ambassador Obinna Sixtus Nwoke has applauded and approved an initiative from IPAYP's Directorate of International Relations / good governance and politics.
This initiative is aimed at giving African Youth the needed vigor, enthusiasm and awareness of political participations.

Citing the African Youth Charter Article 10 - 3a, DEVELOPMENT : State Parties Shall :
Encourage the media to disseminate information that will be of economic, POLITICAL, social and cultural benefit to the youth.

Article 11 a. They shall guarantee the participation of youth in Parliament and other decision making bodies in accordance with the prescribed laws;
b-
Facilitate the creation or strengthening of platforms for youth participation in decision making at local, national, regional and Continental levels of governance.
Citing these relevant backups from the African Youth Charter, the global president swiftly adopted what the organization called 'First All African Youth Political Summit' to be held in Nigeria ( Owerri Imo State).

He emphasized on the importance of youth availing themselves the opportunity to attend the event which will parade renowned guest lecturers From Nigeria and Cameroon.
According to the theme, politics and it's expected approach should be defined in such a way the it will be embraced by younger generation to write the wrongs of the old generation. According to Ambassador Sixtus, it is a beautiful game if played well to attract dividends for even development. He frowned at the do or die spirit of most African leaders, the sit tight syndrome of most African presidents and the greedy accumulation of common wealth. He called on political leaders especially from South eastern part of Nigeria where the event is going to take place to turn a new leaf and show a good example to the generation next. According to him, IPAYP is very much interested in the continent's political developments. Several African youth leaders are expected from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Ghana etc.
