Come Closer is yet another fresh tune from Africa’s finest Wizkid featuring Ace rapper Drake. Wizkid’s ‘Come closer’ video is officially out but with few criticisms from fans across the globe.

After the initial leak on an episode of OVO Radio on Beats 1, it was only just (officially) released across most music platforms on Friday, April 7, 2017, although it has received loads of airplays before the official release with comments from fans commending the efforts put together by bringing this great track to reality.

And as Wizkid promised on Instagram, he didn’t take too long to release the official video for the future hit. Unfortunately, Drake was absent from the video – which only featured his vocals. Drake’s non-appearance was so obvious as his verse had no one to mime it, except Wizkid, who fixed things creatively.

A flashback to the One Dance hit song reminds us of a similar experience as Drake did not feature wizkid in the official One Dance video, which was shot in Africa (Cape Town, South Africa) also wizkid diehard lover complained of the lack of clarity in Wizkid’s voicing on the track which got diverse criticism from his fans across Africa. However, a section of the story hints that it could be another round of payback time for Wizkid.



Wizkid Responds on His Twitter Account

Replying a fan, he said: “Had a family emergency during ‘One Dance’ video shoot, and Drake was on tour when we did ‘Come Closer’. No bad blood, one love still” He tweeted.
