According to Mr Oga Motunde Oga who posted the information on Facebook said the Suspected kidnappers invaded Ibillo, Akoko-Edo in Edo State yesterday 7/4/2017, at about 7pm trailing the immediate past local government chairman of the local government in their car after monitoring him from a near by village but for the grace of God and vigilant youths of the community the assailants were over powered, disarmed and arrested and were delivered to the police. Items recover from them in two AK 47 rifles, ammunition, charms and six mobile phones.

The two arrested were fully kitted in Nigeria Police uniforms. The suspect are currently under the custody of the Nigeria Police, Ibillo division.

It would be recalled that a few years back as one very Famus leader of the All Progressives Congress was strangled to death along Okpe road and his killers are still at large today, I use this opportunity to call on the good and patriotic citizens of Akoko-Edo ensure that this recent attempt on the life of one of us should be treated as an attempt on all of us.
