Federal Government Declares Mondays, Wednesdays As Made- In-nigeria Dress Day by valiyk: 7:49pm On Apr 09, 2017
The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has approved the adoption of Mondays and Wednesdays every week, as Made-in-Nigeria Dress Days across the country. The approval was contained in a letter from the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, dated April 4, 2017, and addressed to the Executive Secretary of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma. The federal government directed that a presentation on the Made-in-Nigeria Campaign be made to the National Economic Council to secure the buy-in of state governments. It is in this regard, the Minister of Information & Culture, Lai Mohammed directed the Management of NICO to provide a comprehensive proposal on how to effectively implement the policy in a manner that would encourage all Nigerians to conveniently observe the Made-in-Nigeria Dress Days.

That's why the govt has directed NICO to conduct a Made-in-Nigeria Campaign and also come up with a comprehensive proposal for its effective implementation to secure state government buy-in.
And i think it can be workable if every state government can start it's implementation in their various states, beginning with the corporate bodies and bodies corporate. It's just a matter of time then it becomes a custom and culture.
