Good job OP and nice info....Some caveat though, some of these security measures e.g. data encryption, hard drive lock, etc can also prevent you from accessing your data if the OS become inoperable or crashed.

So, you would be able to move your hard drive to another PC and just retrieve your data. Also some encryption software in order to make your data more secure, does not store your key (password), which means, if you forget your password, you are tossed as you can't reset or recover it and access to your encrypted data is gone.

It is good to read the fine prints, too much security like every other thing, when done in excess is bad.
