Re: 2004 Bmw X5 by maxit2(m): 11:16am On Jan 16, 2010
I love the BIMA, but for 3.2M i will go for a brand new one, Boy you are very ambitious, If i were you, i ll delete this post and re-post it with a more realistic prize,
Let's say, 1.9M at most and that car wouldn't last 2days in the auction. I will buy it.

My general finding is that most posters, (except for a few actual dealers) dont even know how much Toks of these vehicles cost right here @ berger for instance.

For about 2.2M you'll get this vehicle Toks, full option at berger, so why wouuld someone just post a USED on for 3.2M? Its crazy

Kidding me?

I just picked up a ride in December and the 03.04 ML and X5 were 2.5 asking. I'm serious here.

Hi Fellow NL'ers,

As much as i was trying very hard not to get involved with this thread, i found it harder to stay away either.

First of all, this vehicle advertised here is not even a 2004 in my opinion, its a 2001/2002 at best if that. I am thinking that its a 2000.

With that said, i have even witnessed even a greater number of wild claims and numbers thrown out there. I am not sure where people hope to get a 2004 X5 for N2.2m

You can't even get a 4Runner for that kind of money. All assuming that its a good running car.

I was checking through the dealer's network, and i found the attached 2004 X5. It has about 60k miles on it. Vehicle will land for a last price of N4.3m.
Nothing less.

Its extremely clean as you can see. I will love to be educated on where to get a 2004 X5 for even N2.5m if someone else know out there.

Re: 2004 Bmw X5 by Onwan: 6:00pm On Jan 16, 2010
I need to be very clear on what Im saying;

The Tokumbo of that vehicle up there is not more than 2.5M. The thing about that body/type is that it runs from 99 to 05/06. But Im telling you that you will see the Tokumbo of that Vehicle up there for 2.5M ASKING. I did.

And the poster should move round.

[b]@Kunle

You are spot on.

@House,

Sorry to break this sad news out, But X5 posted in the picture is either a 2000 or 2001 model.  I know German cars inside out, Especially BMW's.

As you can see from the picture of the 2004 model posted above by Kunle you will see that the front grille is slightly different and the headlamp is clearer and crystal like.   In 2004 X5 was facelifted with new headlights, a few new exterior colors, a new four-wheel drive system and upgraded engines. The grilles were enlarged, as well as their actual slats being modified in a 'flame surfaced' style, the 2004 X5's headlights got "angel-eyes" (rings or halos around all front headlamps) as you see in Kunle's pic.

The taillights also received a facelift , and the exterior glass went from a "dotted" pattern to a cleaner "line" pattern.

Poster, Your car is beautiful and I wish you the happiest sale, But honesty and integrity are the best policies in life.

Thanks

Good good good everyone.

i just covered the plate number of that baby because it is my personal car and I am in love her. I wish everyone who want to have the BMW experience for
less than 2m goodluck. I bought that baby as a 2004 car for a price more than what i am putting it up for grabs. The baby was and is in an excellent working
condition. If you think I deceived you, I am very sorry. I needed money and I dont have the stomach to take unnecessary jabs. If you are interested in the
post just ring me up if you are not why cant you try and help your bro by staying on the positive side.

I salute everyone.
Re: 2004 Bmw X5 by Onwan: 9:28am On Jan 18, 2010
@LeoT
Sorry if you we are trying to knock you. Its unfortunate you have to sell the ride against your wishes. The thing is that cars are sold basically on two levels from what I have experienced; they can sell a car to as what the car is worth OR as what YOU are worth. I think you bought that bimmer for a price they gave you based on their accessment of what you can afford AND not for what it should be sold for.

Actually, a forum like this helps open people's eyes to facts they would not ordinarily know and we all stand to gain from it one way or the other.

Facing reality however, I would advise that you drop the price of that vehicle to 1.7M - 1.9M so you can sell quickly and get it over with. Remember, the longer it stay with youn the lesser the value. I'm not telling you this because I'm buying - Its just a way of helping you know what you don't; afterall the link I posted above was a BMW like yours that was brought to me for a test drive and for sale as well.

I hope you understand
