Seems like Superman isn’t the only one returning to the season finale of Supergirl. Former CEO of Catco media Cat Grant played by Calista

Flockhart will make an appearance towards the end of the show. She last appeared in the first two episodes where she inspired Kara towards

being a reporter and handed the company to James Olsen before diving into untested waters.

According to TVline where the report originated from, show runner Andrew Kreisberg had teased her return in the following statement made in

october.

“We’re still trying to work out her schedule,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told reporters back in October. At the time, he said the team

hoped to have Flockhart back for “as many [episodes] as we can get.”

Much of Calista Flockhart’s absence during this season is due to the show changing its location from Los Angeles to Vancouver. A return would

mean several things depending on what the writers have in store for her.
