Ebonyi Demotes Five Head Teachers Because Of Exam Malpractise by Nobody: 4:42am On Apr 15, 2017
Three officials of the Ministry of Education in Ebonyi State have been sanctioned for their alleged involvement in examination malpractice during the 2016 Senior Schools Certificate Examination (SSCE).

Five head teachers were demoted to classroom teachers.

Commissioner for Education Prof. John Ekeh announced this while addressing reporters.

The sanction followed the report of the examination body, which indicted 20 schools and some officials of complicity.

According to Ekeh, five head teachers have been demoted while 25 teachers and supervisors will be paid half salaries for three months.

He noted that 15 private schools indicted in the report will not participate in SSCE for one year and they will pay a fine of N100,000 to deter others.

Quality learning is very important. It is better to have 10 people who studied hard and learned the material pass the exam than for 100 to be pushed through.

At least the ones who will not pass can take extra coaching and tutoring if they are serious about formal education or go to learn a trade. This would serve to ensure that our universities and higher institutions are only open to people who have the mental capacity to learn.

They also cheat in Abroad; where they excel far more than Nigeria? There is a reason why they clamor for Biafraa...a country that will be devoid of mediocrity, quota system, illiterates and bigots running government, hate and envy, particularly from Afonjas! As if The Great Igbo Race is your mate!

Thank you very much Honourable Commission of Education and Erudite Professor,i pray other Commissioner of Education and Ministers will follow suits.

The Centre of Excellence, Please follow suits especially Privates are the worst, that attached salary and bonuses or incentive to examination malpractices to advertise their schools

God bless you Sir and your able officers and also shame and disgrace to examination malpracticing schools and proprietors

easterner s are stopping exam malpractice while afonjas are encouraging their people on it but the bad thing is that afonjas are soo dumb that they will always come last even with malpractice, to copy something no be with brain?
