Whenever a man is getting married to more than one wife, or polygamy is mentioned the next thing you hear from Muslims or those in support of polygamy say is that it's better than getting married to one woman and having many girlfriends.
Please, we should tell ourselves the truth and stop lying just to justify what we want.
The Baba's and Alhaji's in your streets or neighborhood with more than one wife that you see jumping around with small girls are doing what? The ones that you see in campuses looking for girls are doing what?
How did you think they met those women and made them 2nd and 3rd wives? So you think Ahmed Musa did not cheat on his wife with Juliet before he decided to make her his second wife?
I don't have anything against those who practice polygamy even if I'm not in support of it. I only have a problem with those trying to justify polygamy by saying it's better than cheating on your wife when we all know that polygamist are the worst when it comes to cheating. Just say you are marrying more than one wife because you want to or because your religion allows you to.

Solomon married 700 wives and had 300 concubines and was considered the wisest man ever lived.

Some men have greed in their eyes. No matter how many women they marry they would still want more from outside.

You have to understand that not every one who claims to be an Alhaji even prays the regular 5 times prayer talk less of obeying the command of Allah.

Allah who is the creator of the heaven and earth knows that man is indeed weak and knows there are way more women than men in this world. That is why He permitted men to marry more than one wife ONLY IF THEY CAN BE JUST to them all. But the reality is it's even harder to do justice to one woman not to talk of two or four.

Ahmed Musa you sighted as an example has a Muslim name but do you know if he follows the Islamic principles. So he left is Muslim wife to marry Juliet?

Self discipline and self control is key if you want to avoid cheating on your spouse.

Unless a man has self control, he will sleep with as many women that let him. It has nothing to do with polygamy or monogamy. Self control is the key to not cheating.

Exactly! I agree with you. The problem is that, cheating wives is on the high side recently. Don't you think Nigerians should consider polyandry_ it's way better than cheating on their husbands.

If by any means women become more than men, would that be a good ground to encourage Polyandry?(that's assuming you're right about female birth rate being higher)
