The Professional Footballer's Association (PFA) of the English Premier League (EPL) just released the Team Of The Year Awards list for 2016/2017 footballing season, and many football fans across the world do not agree. The list is deemed controversial by many fans who believe some players should have been included/excluded.

The most notable player missing from the list is Arsenal's attacker, Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez who initially made the nominations list of the PFA Player Of The Award is missing in the TOTY. Many believe Sachez should have been on the list instead of Liverpool's Saido Mane. Zlatan is not on the list too, though both players made the PFA POTY nominees list.

Four Chelsea players; Eden Hazard, Ngolo Kante, Gary Cahill, and David Luiz made the TOTY list. Others include Everton's Romelu Lukaku; Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Danny Rose, and Kyle Walker of Totenham Hotspur; Liverpool's Saido Mane; and Manchester United's goal keeper, David De Gea.
