TV cameras focused on the ‘Special One’ as he brought out a piece out of his pocket moments before the start of second half of extra-time as the game looked to be heading for a penalty shootout. Jose immediately raised the stuff to his face, took a look at it for a moment and kissed it before returning it into his pocket. Barely two minutes later, Rashford grabbed the winning goal. It ended Manchester United 2 – 1 Anderlecht, with the Red Devils proceeding 3 – 2 on aggregates. According to The Mirror (UK) the charm in form of a book which had an inscription which Mourinho was alleged to have read is suspected to have done the magic.
