It’s 10 years since Ray J proved he could keep it up with the Kardashians when his and Kim’s bedroom antics were exposed for the world to see.


In 2007, the video of the pair doing the dance with no pants surfaced online after it was illegally shared, and 10 years on PornHub have paid tribute to Kim Kardashian’s ‘porn debut’.

They tweeted a graphic still from the video, alongside the caption: ‘Happy 10 year anniversary to our #1 IndecentStar @KimKardashian on her porn debut!!! #10yearsofrayj’.

Alternatively, it’s the anniversary of 10 years of Kim Kardashian in the spotlight, as the video tape launched her to fame.

Kim Kardashian, Superstar is the most watched x-rated movie, with over 93 million views since it first popped up. It was leaked and then distributed by Vivid Entertainment, but determined not to get shafted, Kim sued and won the rights to the tape, along with $4.5 million.

So what could have been a cock-up turned out to be quite profitable.

According to Toofab.com, Ray J still earns $90k every three months in royalties for the video.

Kim was 23 at the time the film was made – the couple had nipped off to the Esperanza resort in Cabo, Mexico to celebrate her birthday.

The 41-minute movie was filmed on a handheld camera in 2003. She was apparently with Paris Hilton when the film leaked.

Steven Hirsch, the founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, told The Sun: ‘Ultimately she did sell us the footage so we had the ability to put it out and distribute it.’

He added: ‘I can only say that it’s the most popular tape we’ve ever done.

‘Revenue-wise it has generated more income than any other tape that we’ve done.’
