We are Nigerians. Pure-blood unadulterated Africans.
We are creative.
Innovative.
Smart.
And for long now we've been trying to be recognised in the world.

How can that happen when we keep disgracing ourselves like this??

When a person dies, and it gets out on social media, why flood the page with RIP?
RIP...
RIP...
RIP....
Even 'rest in peace is wrong' because you are not talking to the person directly.
'May His/Her soul rest in peace' is better.
Or you write something different and comforting.

It hurts to see:

Mr A: RIP

Mr B: RIP

Mr C: RIP bro

Mr D: RIP

Guy we are tired of all this grammar; it has enslaved us for this long and has not added to our development.

Let's go back to nature

Speaking to the dead/praying for the dead in it's entirety is absurd too.
Comforting the relations of the dead is more appropriate.

Speaking to or praying for the dead in Nigeria is Usually as a result of the bandwagon effect
