Thanks for the info. I know someone who was blocked by MTN. They said he had done multiple reloads so even before he got to three months they stopped giving the 200% bonus. Not sure if it was the validity (as it rolls over as well) that was used to track him.

My current validity is till june.

I know this is the handwork of those poop jobs at Ncc I was actually expecting it since their first effort failed woefully they had to silently implement it. Since this new guy took over Ncc I can't even tell whose interest he is protecting ours or the telcos. Everything in this country is just designed to frustrate the citizens. Technology is improving and data price is reducing in saner climes, the reverse is the case down here.

Normal data price bro.. that plan you put up is for those using Visaphone sims not MTN sim. Dial *131# with an MTN sim, wether 3g or 4g price is the same

From what i'm reading the issue of reduced data plan is not TRUE i think you would still enjoy the same volumes when you have continuous subscription because of you look at there website these are the major points

A. New Customers would get Double Volume

I'm really surprised no one noticed the sudden increase in data subscription by all networks in Nigeria. Mtn, airtel, etisalat have all reduced the 3gb for N1000 data to 1.5gb recently. Glo is only following suit.

There must have been a silent directive or somtin, probably from NCC as usual (my thought doh), Because they all seem to be unified on dis.

They decided to do it quietly since the first attempt failed woefully....It's a pity though!

These plans were introduced when mtn newly acquired VisaFone. And they were meant for those who migrated from Visafone to mtn, but they've since been discontinued.

Normal MTN customers and those who migrated from Visafone now use unified plans, which is the normal mtn data plans, for 3G and 4G. Everything is the same now, including tariff plans.

Data plans and tariff plans have been unified. There is no difference any longer. The only difference between those using the normal mtn SIM and those using the Visafone migrated SIM is LTE band 20. The Visafone migrated Sims support both LTE band 7 and 20, while the normal mtn Sims support only band 7.

I has active plan but my auto renewal has been cancelled pls do this: send ACCEPT to 127 to restore it and ur subsequent subscription will be on the old rate. OR if is a fresh sub, do like #1000 plan for new rate as auto renewal comes at default then before it expires subsequent sub will take u back to old rate.
