Focus: When the Word of God comes to You

WORD FOR TODAY
When the Lord is set to make a man great, He sends His word to him. The word of God coming to you at every point in time is aimed at making you great!!!

"After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward."" (Genesis 15:1 NKJV).

The major turning point of the lives of most people always come mostly when the word of God comes to them. Men of God like Elisha, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Isaiah, Abraham, Gideon, Moses, Joshua (just to mention few) were just ordinary men until the word of the Lord came to them. We can read and speak about them simply because they accepted the word of God that came to them.

The Lord is so gracious that He still sends His word to us even in this last days. Each time His word comes to you do not harden your heart but accept and surrender yourself to it like Abram and the likes did; for it doesn't at any time come for fun or as a tradition but as an instrument of elevation in righteousness and deliverance from the evil enterprise of the devil.

If there be any of God's word coming to you; it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that you as a man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Prayer Point:
Lord! I receive the grace to always hear your word, accept and live consistently by it in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Main Emphasis:
When the word of the Lord comes to you it is basically for your greatness!!!
