You are applying the just cause fallacy to Nigerian police and soldiers. You are assuming everyone who ever has an issue with police and soldiers was somehow at fault.

A lot of us honest, hardworking Nigerians have different stories to tell. I have been harassed in the past for carrying a laptop. A 12 year old cousin was arrested on Xmas eve some years back for selling banger. Her mum called us. We got to the station and there were 10 other people there on dubious charges. It was a fundraiser for new year celebration. We had to negotiate and pay. Only God knows what could have happened to that girl at the hands of Nigerias finest.

Our soldiers and police are for the most part thugs who bully and extort the citizenry, but are often nowhere to be found when they are needed.

Those SARS are big evil,they did the same to us this January,my husband has to change his ticket fast back to state.One can't just enjoy his money without any arrasement from them especially those Ilorin SARS are demon.

By nigerian standards, i am a pesin, but depending on the time, i still get harassed, especially as i am or so they say baby faced.

Keep quiet and stop saying rubbish. The boy has told you why his brother was harassed. SARS did the the same thing to I and my sister about 2 months ago. We were going to church, had an issue with a keke driver and as we were discussing with the driver, the sarz officer came, asked what the problem was, my sister answered and next thing he landed her a slap. It didn't end there, he proceeded to hit her again and he also slapped me when I asked why he slapped my sister.

The case was serious and the whole place got crowded. We wanted to take the issue to court because my sis is a lawyer and my uncle is a famous lawyer too also because no one should assault anyone and go free (more so a SARS officer). While we were still there, another sarz officer came along and begged us to forget the issue.

So stop saying what you don't know. SARS are the most useless people ever.
