no, it's hyper pigmentation, it happens to ppl of color irrespective of skin tone. also, weight gain causes darkened elbows and knees for some ppl and she just lost baby weight recently.



it's not smart to stay in an abusive or unhappy marriage for the sake of children. the hostile environment will rub off on them and you'll be miserable. lose-lose situation, she's better off single & happy.
