Tecno Power Bank by theDecembrist(m): 10:22am On May 02, 2017
I bought this power bank at Jumia. It says it has a 30,000mAh capacity. I'm beginning to doubt it.
Please has anyone used this power bank before? ... I'd like to know if its a fake.

That's clearly fake.
1.) Tecno doesn't make power banks.
Any power bank branded "Tecno" is most likely fake or inferior.

2.) That can't be up to 5,000 mAh.
It's too small.
Physics will tell you that for more battery capacity you need more cells which translates to bigger size.
That's why power banks with large capacities (10,000, 20,000 mAh, etc) are large and heavy.

If you doubt you can tear it down and look at the battery used.
It'll most likely be 2 18660 batteries.

Be careful with that.
Batteries as a whole can be dangerous, fake batteries more so.
If you can return it then do so, and get something better, even though it'll be more expensive.
FIL has good power banks that are relatively cheap.

Stay safe.

Hello @theDecembrist this Powerbank is fake. TECNO does not produce such accesories. Visit 3C HUB Outlets or any Carlcare Service Centre to purchase Original accessories.
