What method did you make use of? You shouldn't lose any data however, it's advisable to always backup prior to any major upgrade.

funny thing is I have had that update notice for about a week. hardly make calls on that phone; its mainly for two things VR and making money.

so I updated it last night and I love it. so many new features and the look and feel is wonderful. major improvement in battery utilization.

Me too... Nougat 7.0 is super fast battery looks good and user interface is beautiful. I love Samsung

the apps or the Gear VR? the Gear VR I got for 15k from a guy who had a couple of Gear VR last year. have about 35 VR games on it.

Me too... Nougat 7.0 is super fast battery looks good and user interface is beautiful. I love Samsung

there is a definite improvement in the battery utilization and well as signal reception.
Also the front facing camera is now sharper and much better.
will try it on the VR tomorrow.
there's an ADVANCED FEATURES option in settings I'm interested in
